The Jewish Innovation
During Chanuka 2014, Aish HaTorah will be hosting a Chanuka Chesed event in the Old City of Jerusalem. We will be inviting all Western Wall visitors to come and join us in the making and designing of menorahs, dreidels, jewelry, gifts, food packages and Chanuka cards, which will be given to Israeli terrorist victims and sick children as Chanuka presents. In addition to being a beautiful act of kindness for the children, the participation of Jews of all types in this act of kindness promises to be a great display of Jewish unity. We expect that all participants will be uplifted through this experience as they appreciate the spiritual beauty of kindness which is one of the great foundations of Judaism.
During the remaining days of Chanuka the Aish HaTorah students will be visiting orphanages, hospitals and terrorist victim centers to deliver the gifts and packages to the kids and lighten up their Chanuka with song and dance. This is a truly unique program on so many levels.
