Auschwitz Virtual Tour is not going to be a regular webinar or seminar. In fact, it is the most faithful representation of a physical visiting Auschwitz memorial site, which in my performance is significantly extended with historical footage, history of former prisoners, visualizations and aerial recordings. Thanks to the use of Virtual Reality tool created by the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum, we are able to reach every single spot and space at the memorial site.
This is not a short session. Those who know me or who visited Auschwitz Memorial with me as a guide know that it usually takes 4-5 hours. The Auschwitz Virtual Tour is planned to be divided into two parts: virtual visit at Auschwitz I (1,15h), a 20-minute break, visiting Auschwitz II-Birkenau (1,15h). In case of questions, I can extend the session, because we have no time limitation.
In fact those sessions are being organized as we speak. I started the project on August 20th, 2020 and I conducted 11 sessions so far: 5 public session, 3 teacher’s sessions and 4 sessions for students including a special session for 250 Indian students. During one of the session we had an honor to have a Holocaust survivor: Mrs. Sophie Klisman, Mother of Lori Ellis. Sophi Klisman. It proves how powerful these session can become.
What do we need the money for?
$30,000 is annual budget for this project when it comes to the English Virtual Tours. We do not want charge for any sessions, so we would like to organize Virtual Tours free of charge for students from
Here are some opinions of participants of Auschwitz Virtual Tour so far:
“This is a recommendation to continue with the amazing, realistic, educational and remarkable zoom seminar that Jerzy created and presented. As a second generation Holocaust survivor I decided to take a chance and view this presentation. I was blown away by the vast amount of knowledge Jerzy had on the topic and the accuracy. I felt like I was dropped into Auschwitz and actually there. The aerial views from the drones gave me a feel for the enormity of the camp. Being in the blocks, gas chambers and other spots felt surreal. All the emotions came back as if I was there once again visiting the spots where my parents were. I had to call my mother so she could participate in the next zoom presentation. My mom, a Holocaust survivor of 3 camps was in awe of the job Jerzy did. She too was extremely emotional watching this. Both of us felt this was a presentation every student in all countries need to participate in. It is educational and realistic. My wish is that all the states and countries make genocide training a law. If one cannot physically be in Auschwitz for a tour, this is a phenomenal alternative. I have attended several seminars and this was by far the best. Keep up the wonderful work Jerzy and I hope everyone will help contribute so you can learn about the dangers of anti-Semitism, hatred and prejudice. By participating in this seminar, you will become knowledgeable on the topic and hopefully this will never again happen”.

“…an informative thorough tour….jerzy is a wonderful tour guide …his use of pictures of past, and present gave the viewer a sense of the horrendous atrocities that occurred..although difficut to participate,i firmly believe (i am a retired educator) that this subject and tour be mandatory for children of appropriate age, young adults, and adults in general.”

“Thank you Jerzy for an incredible moving tour on the horror that was the Holocaust I found this experience absolutely worthwhile and necessary. Seeing the children’s barracks absolutely broke me -still I thank you for showing it to me I feel I got to see and learn so much as we weren’t physically walking the camp there was more time to explore and learn… Thank you thank you thank you thank you
