Before Yom Kippur hundreds of Cool Collars were distributed on the Gaza border. Over the Succot holiday more than 100 collars were distributed to soldiers stationed in Hebron. Please help us continue Ari’s legacy by making the lives of soldiers that much easier, a bit more comfortable and showing our appreciation for all they sacrifice.
Cool-A-Chayal Campaign 2018
IDF Soldiers are naturally cool…but you can help us make them even cooler…This is your chance to make a HUGE difference in the lives of IDF soldiers who are on the front lines defending Israel.
On guard in the south of Israel (and all over the country during the summer), IDF soldiers can get unbearably hot – protecting the land under helmets and heavy vests for shifts of 8 hours or longer. As we launch our ‘Cool-A-Chayal’ campaign, temperatures have reached over 100 degrees across Israel, and IDF soldiers on duty do not have the luxury of taking a break in air-conditioning the way we can. We are bringing cool relief and comfort to them, in the field, so that they can keep up the important work of keeping us safe.
The Cool Collar:
The Cool Collar is a wearable cooling device that relieves the discomfort and dangers of outdoor heat. IDF soldiers LOVE this product as it can be used on duty, and it only enhances their focus and comfort.
The Cool Collar is powered by QuickSnow, a rechargeable cooling technology (MADE IN ISRAEL) It will last for approximately 2 hours – depending on the activity level of the user and outdoors temps. In Israel, where sweltering heat is not uncommon, it makes all the difference! One can refreeze the device in any refrigerator, freezer, ice filled cooler, or even air-conditioning vents on a bus. It is the perfect personal cooling system for anyone, but especially IDF soldiers who are spending hours in the sun.
We are striving to deliver Cool Collars to as many front line soldiers as possible. We have already distributed hundreds – but we need your help to distribute thousands. Our minimal campaign goal is to reach 2,000 combat soldiers and our ultimate goal is to reach 10,000 IDF soldiers. There is not enough we can do for the men and women of the IDF to thank them for their personal sacrifice.
