Ehyeh is my first album of original music. I’ve been working with Jack Kwait Blank to produce these songs. Along the way, I’ve had photographers, artists, and musicians help me create content to make it look, feel, and sound awesome. The Campaign is not to make money, I’ve already created most of the music, and my producer has put together most of the content but now it’s time to create physical copies of the CD and support the creators. Here’s the breakdown of how I’d like to use the money that I will be given:
Distribution/CDs/Vinyl – $1600
Producer (Jack Kwait Blank) – $1500
Musicians/Artists/Photographers – $100 each
(Eric Sayag, Alicia Kwait-Blank, Max Okun, Coleen Dieker, Christiaan Clark)
As of today, we are at 120% of our goal! Today, I am going to donate $72.50 (10% of the proceeds after $3600 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation)
We did it!!! We successfully funded the campaign. Thank you so much for all of your support.
Even though the timeline for this Jewcer campaign has ended, folks can still come here to buy tickets to the concert this Sunday, Jan. 3rd at 4 PM EST as well as a copy of the CD.
The CDs are going out in the mail (many of you already have them) and we’re still waiting on a few things to come through for the vinyls, but we’ll be in touch as we have more information.
Much love and Happy new year!
Ben
Guess what!!! The CDs have arrived to my house and now I do the work of personalizing some messages to each of you and getting them out in the mail. The first batch should come out in the mail this week so whoever ordered a hard copy will get to hear the songs first!
Guess what folks! The music and art is all done and we sent everything to distribution. We should be on time with the January 1st release, and we might even be able to get you your signed CDs sooner than that. Once I have them in hand, I will reach out to get your mailing addresses so I can get them to you as promptly as possible!
We’re still making our way to our goal, so any way you can help share this out to more folks would be immensely helpful. Remember, all the money goes to support the production team (artists, musicians) and I won’t take a penny until all those people have been properly supported for their hard work.
Alright Friends,
Here’s the most recent update on Ehyeh! All of the art has been completed and we sent the CD off to our company (copycat) today to create the hard copy CDs. We’ll keep you updated with info once we receive the hard copies at which point we’ll be asking for your addresses to send the hard copies to.
The best thing you can do now is continue to help me push this campaign so we can properly support the people that supported me in creating work. IT REALLY DOES TAKE A VILLAGE to put something like this together. I’m not taking a dime for myself until I can fund all of my team for their hard work in this endeavor.
Thanks everyone!
