Heart4Refugees empowers Syrian refugees in achieving a seamless transition and relocation to the United States through connecting people to the right services and support networks. Funds raised provide families with subsidized rent and household items. We also offer:
- an afterschool program,
- therapy resources for those who have suffered from posttraumatic stress disorder,
- mentorship for college students,
- a women’s empowerment program,
- and help finding employment opportunities.
Our Adopt a Family program, launched at the end of 2016, has paired more than 100 Syrian refugee families with Americans. The program facilitates greater understanding of refugees’ needs and challenges, and helps refugee families receive necessities during resettlement.
