Shalom. We are Yacov and Miriam Drori. Together with our seven children, we have created a cultural and spiritual center in Tzfat (one of the four holy cities of Israel), which provides: regular prayer services, lectures on a myriad of Jewish spiritual topics, meetups, impassioned singing gatherings, activities for children & youth, etc.). In addition, we are a psychosocial needs provider for the local community. We especially embrace new Olim, homeless visitors in Tzfat, as well as people who have made Tzfat their home for many years and still are struggling. Furthermore, our shul welcomes people involved with birthright and taglit. Our shul/cultural, spiritual center is warm and welcoming to the community in all of its diversity. We have studied for many years with a multitude of inspirational spiritual teachers. We have taken what we have learned from these teachers and are now teaching and inspiring others with ancient Jewish wisdom combined with modern techniques of living a joyful life in a complex world. Our guiding spiritual principle is that every human interaction is a step into ourselves. We believe that being there for one another is as important or possibly more important than learning and meditating.  Many spiritual centers teach one path or another. Judaism gives us a range of opinions. In the House of Love and Prayer, we give a voice to all voices as we believe that we are here to learn and enrich each other.
