Dear Bayit Brigade Family-
At this time, all 31 soldiers living in Bayit Brigade apartments have been called to duty. They left their homes on Oct 7th and reported to army bases throughout the county. In addition, Bayit Brigade staff who are reservists, as well as two of our board members have been called to action.
Amidst one of the darkest days in Israel’s history, they are all answering the call. Now it is our turn. Many have asked how they can help. In response, we have set up an Emergency Support Fund that will provide immediate aid to all our Lone Soldiers. 100% of the funds raised will go directly to Soldiers and victims of terror.
Where The Money Will Go
- Transportation expenses to help soldiers get to/from bases quickly
- Groceries and basic home necessities so soldiers can rest during time off of base
- Rent relief for any veteran soldier who will be unable to work and may fall behind on bills
- Supplies, hygiene products, and clothing for active soldiers in the field
- Humanitarian aid for terror victims
- Housing for displaced citizens from Southern Israel
Funds will also go to medical bills for Soldiers that require long term care.
Distribution Of Funds
We have a field team on the ground in Israel who are in regular communication with our Lone Soldiers as they go to war. They are actively working with soldiers to help them navigate their situations and are providing an extra layer of love, care, and support. Our team is actively creating an inventory of soldier needs and building a distribution network to provide resources when and where soldiers need it.
100% of the funds raised will go directly to Soldiers via our field team on the ground in Israel.

About Bayit Brigade
Bayit Brigade is a nonprofit that provides affordable housing to IDF Lone Soldiers and new veterans in Israel. We currently support 31 soldiers that live in Bayit Brigade subsidized apartments in Tel Aviv. The apartments are in central locations, come fully furnished, and have washer/dryers to make life easy for soldiers when they return home. We also support another 100 soldiers though rental scholarships, grocery subsidies, moving programs, and a Guarantor Fund.
We are the only organization focused on housing for active Lone Soldiers AND new veterans. We believe that with a home they love, Lone Soldiers and veterans will have the foundation they need to create a life in Israel.
