Do you pray with Israel?
The State of Israel is the heart of our people. Our love of Israel should be on our minds, in our hearts, and in our prayers. The people of Israel need our prayers. Her Soldiers and Security Personel are on the front lines.
North American Orthodox Jews have been using the same ritual calendar, Luach, for a long time. The most popular one does not recognize the State of Israel or important dates in North American society. Luach Torat Israel, encompasses all the information that is in more traditional luchot, and also includes important innovations.
Luach Torat Israel is the only Luach for North America’s Orthodox community that references the State of Israel. Our Luach is the first to prescribe religious observances for Yom HaAtzmaut, Yom HaZikaron and Yom HaShoah (Israel Independence Day, Israel Memorial Day, and Holocaust Remembrance Day).
This project is an opportunity to consolidate communities of practice and belief around the core tenets of Modern Orthodoxy: commitment to halakha, commitment to the State of Israel, and commitment to serving God in the best way that we can.
This is our fourth year in print. Dozens, if not hundreds, of minyanim are already using Luach Torat Israel.
Support our work that seeks to strongly establish prayer as a powerful means of supporting our Homeland.
