At long last, the time has finally come to produce a full album of my Jewish music. Creating a live recording will capture the depth and spiritual experience of this music, as prayer can be awakening, real and provide profound transformation. This album will feature the liturgy of the Friday night prayer space – with some additional surprise bonus tracks. I’m working with a producer who is well-established in the Los Angeles Jewish music scene, along with an incredible team of musicians and vocalists. I am looking for your partnership and support to bring this music to life!
A couple of years ago, I, along with a small team, launched a prayer project called Na’or. Here we would experiment with chanting, meditation and musical prayer as a way of rediscovering a connection to the text, to ourselves, to the Infinite and to each other. Now, after praying together with nearly a thousand souls, it is time to produce this music and share it with anyone looking for a spiritual lift to their Shabbat and Jewish experience. My hope is that Jewish prayer becomes delicious, accessible and meaningful for us today and in generations to come.
