There is one simple solution that can start dealing with most issues in the world. More food is being wasted every day than what is needed to feed the entire population yet there are people still dying of hunger while others are dying from the food they are eating.
The absolute most sustainable way for the planet to survive is if we all move towards eating locally sourced whole food plants.
There is no more nutritious food than whole food plants.
There is no more sustainable option than locally sourced food we grow.
The least expensive choices are the ones that require minimal transportation or processing.
There is a scale at which the best option is also the most cost effective, especially when surrounding factors are figured in.
We have a goal to produce 2,000,000 daily healthy vegan (WFPB) meals by April, 2019.
We want this next Pesach to bring true freedom to all living things and especially the hungry children that top 1,000,000 in Israel alone.
1,000,000 to be given to the needy and the other million to be sold at market price to fund the million that we give away.
To get there we are planning weekly events where anyone who has a talent in the kitchen can participate in doing their part while the crowd makes their choices for best of each category.
This way we engage the public while guaranteeing successful recipes.
By the time we get to April we should have enough tried and tested recipes with an ever growing demand that we hope that the million for sale won’t be enough.
We have 530 banquet halls and catering kitchens ready to participate in providing delicious, nutritious, digestible food that will surely help secure the future of this planet in a regret free way that is good for all living things.
$18 is what we ask to feed one person for one day. If we collect enough up front we will be able to produce the food efficiently enough to sustain the project as it grows.
$1,000 is the amount we believe we need to feed someone for one year on the assumption that we invest the funds we don’t yet need into producing food we will sell at a profit to keep the fund growing.
$18,000 is the MINIMUM amount we calculated we need to start this initiative in a way that we will not require more capital ever again as we will always strive to finance the food we give away for free with the food we sell, using the monies advanced by this funding campaign.
