The Jewish Innovation
Join us in raising $25,000 for Moatza Mekomit New York, the umbrella organization for Israelis living in New York metropolitan area.
Moatza is celebrating its recent accreditation of 501c3 (a non-profit status) and is using JEWCER to demonstrate the strength of the Israeli community. Join us in contributing to our first public campaign before Passover Eve – April 14th, 2014, with the intention of empowering over 150,000 Israelis living in the New York metropolitan area. Give whatever you can! Every dollar will be matched by the Jewish Federation (UJA) for the first $20,000 raised by the date of the Seder.
The Impact
Moatza’s mission is to serve as the umbrella organization of the Israeli Community in the New York metropolitan area. Moatza shall promote the community, and strengthen the community engagement and the Israeli and Jewish identity of its members. Moatza will fulfill the needs of the community, represent it, strengthen the connection between the community and the State of Israel and between the community and the Jewish world, and act for the benefit of the State of Israel.
What Will You Do with the Money?
We raise the money to implement our 2014 strategic plan, including connecting between existing programs, groups and individuals, the initiation and production of events for the Israeli community, training community leaders, developing web-based information center for Israelis, creating a dialogue about the “Tridentity” complex, and more.
