100% of the funds raised will go directly and immediately towards urgent and essential, non-tactical supplies for IDF soldiers.
How the Money Received is Spent
We are in regular contact with the Logistical Commanders of both the Machane Aviv Base in Ramat Aviv, and the Shura Base in Ramla, Israel. If you are not familiar with the Shura Base, in addition to managing the distribution of supplies to troops in the field, it also serves as the morgue where the bodies of the victims of the vicious Hamas attacks are taken for identification and preparation for burial. To learn more about the Shura base, you can do so here:
Of course, there are countless other supplies our troops are in need of, however, from our conversations directly with our contacts at these base and in the shared interest of eliminating waste and things not being used immediately, the following have been communicated to us as the most pressing:
- Warm clothing such as socks, thermal shirts, long underwear, and more for both male and female soldiers.
- Hygiene and personal care products for both male and female soldiers.
- “Leatherman-style” multi-purpose tools for each soldier.
- Individual rechargeable LED headlamps for each soldier.
- Individual mobile device power banks.
- General first-aid supplies.
We will also actively maintain this list and update it with changes as new requests are made.
Again, 100% of the funds raised go directly to benefit the soldiers on the ground in Israel immediately and all the costs we incur to get the job done, such as gas, come at our own expense.

Tax Treatment
We are not an official charity, so unfortunately cannot offer any kind of tax receipts for your contribution, however, we keep receipts that anyone can request to see at any time and do our best to share pictures on Ian’s Facebook page whenever we make deliveries or drop-offs. That said, if tax deductions are something that is important to you and are in search of an organization with a stellar track record, experience, whom we know personally and will vouch for 100%, we recommend without any hesitation, Lema’an Achai.
If you are interested in donating actual products or have questions about donating tactical military equipment, we also direct you to contact Lema’an Achai, who can help with having your donations shipped to Israel at no cost (other than you getting it to their shipping partner in New Jersey), exempt from import taxes, and who will handle the bureaucratic paperwork for you too. Please note, however, that it needs to be a donation of more than just a few items.
Also note, that our particular campaign is exclusively to help the IDF soldiers. We may at some point launch one for displaced victims from the South. If you are interested in that particular cause, again Lem’an Achai is our recommendation.
Thank you so much again,
Ian & Judy
