The Jewish Innovation
On the surface, the Book of Esther reads as a fable of sorts; filled with drama, suspense and a happy ending. However, keeping in mind that it was written under the rulership and scrutiny of the Persian King, care had to be taken to tell the story without offending his sensibilities. The same methods by which the Jewish Sages have derived Torah laws from the text, a secret tradition passed down orally, tells the real story. Though I have adapted the text for the modern reader, so it would be simple to understand, I have drawn from our rich tradition of the Talmud, Midrash, and commentaries written by renowned Jewish scholars through the ages in to this beautiful info novel.

The Impact
This is the first series of its kind that aims to both educate and inspire Jewish youth by providing a window into the life of our ancestors through the voice of Biblical Women.
What Will You Do with the Money?
One third of the money will be used to pay editors and artist; one third on publishing, and the rest will go towards the next book (already in the works)!!!
