Israel is a beautiful country. We want to show it to the world.

Discover Israel Group (or D.I.G) and it’s newly formed- adventure branch -PathfinderX, were founded by Ben (former IDF combat search and rescue officer turned adventure tour guide) and Mike (American-Israeli tourism entrepreneur) who believe that through good vibes, great experiences and creative media projects, they can share the true beauty of Israel to those who may have overlooked it.

Discover Israel Group has begun building a media team made up of award winning National Geographic photographers and cutting edge adventure film producers (some of whom are former IDF special forces veterans) while documenting excursions into the Israeli Wilderness.
The project aims to document the magic of a cross-country Israeli adventure and then showcase it on social media and multiple locations in Israel/USA.

FilmTeam

Production of multiple media projects has already begun– the first part having been filmed in 2 locations (Judean Desert Caves and Carmel Mountains) with several talented Israeli media production teams- Yakhead Productions,  Gelman’s Productions and Tomasz Solinski Timeless Photography.

What you are funding:

  • Production of media projects with local Israeli producers/photographers.
  • Exposure and advertisement of Israeli adventure/nature tourism to the world.

__The cost of this project covers filming, production, insurance, logistics, equipment and publication.

As a token of our appreciation, donors will receive gifts in the spirit of Israeli Adventure from Discover Israel Group’s PathfinderX and our supporting partner in this campaign: Sabra Gear (an Israeli adventure outfitter)

CONTACT ORGANIZER

Mike Levenson immigrated from the USA (having grown up in Savannah, GA and Boston, MA) to Israel in 2010. He served in the IDF as a lone soldier and was a commander in the Nahal Infantry Brigade of the IDF. Mike's passions include hiking, skiing, biking, tennis and running (having completed the Tel Aviv and Jerusalem Marathons.) He speaks fluent English, Hebrew, Russian and French and is one of the co-founders and currently runs the marketing, sales and social media end of D.I.G.
